TORRAN SMITH

Coach Smith entering his sixth season as an assistant football coach at Reeltown High School. He is the offensive line coach for the varsity football team. Coach Smith is also an assistant track & field, and head strength & conditioning coach at Reeltown.

Coach Smith is a graduate of Reeltown High School where he lettered in football for 6 years. He started in 51 of the 71 games he played in at Reeltown. He was selected as a team captain his junior and senior year, Coach Smith earned an All-State team selection, four All-Area team selections, and three All-Outlook selections as an offensive lineman during his playing career as a Rebel. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Auburn University and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Science Education. He is the STEM Instructor for the Tallapoosa County Schools.

Coach Smith also has been the huddle coach and coordinator for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Reeltown High School for five years. In 2021 & 2022, Coach Smith was named one of the top 30 coaches under the age of 30 in the state of Alabama.
